COSHH LEV Compliance "Time to Clear the Air"
Local exhaust ventilation (LEV) in your workplace should carry away any harmful dust, mist, fumes or gas in the air.
To protect your health:
Your LEV system needs to be designed and installed correctly to suit your particular application, regular checking and maintenance throughout the year is also required to ensure it is working properly and to fully comply with your COSHH assessment.
Have your LEV systems been thoroughly tested by a competent person? This should be undertaken every 14 months.
